Vintage Fashion Show and Themed Ensemble Contest

Lancaster, CA, August 29, 2011 - The Vintage Fashion Show presented by Vintage Styles Now will take place at 7:45 PM Saturday September 10th during Celebrate America on the BLVD.  It will be located outside of Vintage Styles Now across the street from LPAC on the BLVD Today Stage. The fashion show will feature a number of Fall & Winter fashions that are popular today; at school, at work and out on the town. The styles to be featured are Vintage 1950’s Rockabilly, Mad 1960’s Mod, Hippie 1970’s Love, and Totally Awesome 1980’s. The apparel will be both original vintage and reproduction pieces from designers like Mr California, Fabiola by David Barr, Jack Bloom, Members Only, Stop Staring!, and Da Vinci.

In addition to the Fashion show everyone who attends Celebrate America on the BLVD is encouraged to dress up in a themed outfit that reflects our great American history. Those who wish to are welcome to enter our Themed Ensemble Contest and walk during our Vintage Fashion Show. At the conclusion of the show awards will be given for participation in the Vintage Fashion Show and Themed Ensemble Contest. It’s going to be a great event on the BLVD so don’t miss out.
