The SCdyne Centrifugal Supercharger systems

This supercharger is simplest most efficient forced induction solution for any Saturn vehicle. Thanks to the Powerdyne BD-600 supercharger our systems offer very quiet operation along with exceptional power increases from 40% to 100% over stock. The basic system comes complete with everything needed down to a dyno programmed computer controller for additional fuel and timing control. The internally belt driven supercharger requires no external lubrication so the installation is simple and clean. In the event you want to remove the system it can be removed as quickly as it was installed. The average installation time is 2 hours and the average removal time is 1/2 that.

The base systems eliminate the air condition system to free up the necessary space for the supercharger. The supercharger doesn't require any external lubrication which further removes complexity from the system and unnecessary engine load maximizing the performance potential of the system. With a high volume low pressure supercharger we have been able to map the power gain of the system to the top of the engine's rpm band where the 1.9L Saturn needs it most. This increase in power is also in direct opposition to the tensile (stretching) stress the crank applies to the rods and pistons at higher rpm's. The power delivery affectively negates this stress and is proven to increase the life of a higher revving motor.

No extra controllers are needed to concentrate on for accurate power delivery, no complex dyno time is needed to fine tune real power into the system, and no parts or accessories are required to be purchased for this system to function. It's delivered with every component needed to install and operate from the hose clamps to the new Serpentine belt. 

Most if not all bolt-on parts can be retained with this system and in fact Hotshot Performance endorses that the system can be used with Hotshot headers with great performance benefits. We worked very closely with manufactures like Hotshot to produce a product that not only fits with current bolt-on parts, but that complement each other with an increase in performance gains above what's documented when combined together. Not every aftermarket bolt-on part will have positive results with our system, but the ones intended to we have worked with to enhance the experience. It does require a unique intake routing so standard intakes are replaced with the system, but it's a good idea to keep them in the event you remove the system. The profile of some naturally aspirated performance cams work against system and may cause a lean fuel condition that would lead to engine failure.( We offer a cam profile for supercharged engines. Even if you have every bolt-on in the world, and are running 10:1 compression ratio pistons with a shot of N02 on the top end our basic system can be configured and tuned around that for at least an additional 40% increase in performance. Other factors like engine limitations must be considered in cases like this, but we have the experience and knowledge to configure a system to work. (We have customers with this configuration already driving a Saturn on a daily basis.) 

The basic system is delivered with a 6 psi pulley for an increase of about 40% over stock and no internal or external modifications to the engine are necessary less the installation of the system in place of the air conditioning. Higher pressure pulleys are available for purchase and also custom configurations for your current vehicle set-up. The next progressive step is the 8 psi system that makes around a 60% increase in power over stock and can be configured on a stock engine, but requires a focused level of attention to stock components condition and may lead to a decreased engine life. Additionally there is an 11 psi pulley available for much higher levels of boost and those configurations require intercooling and advanced engine management. 

The 6 PSI system makes about a 40% increase in HP with a stock engine.
The 8-PSI system makes about a 60% increase in HP with a stock engine. (More HP can be tuned into it with a built motor)
The 11-PSI system makes at least 100% increase in HP and requires a built motor.
